coming out of hiding...

So lately I have been paying entire too much attention to my facebook page.In turn I have neglected the poor blog (hangs head in shame). Going to try to do a better balance here. At any rate moving right along here.... I present to you Wonder Beauty Products "Steel Magnolia".
Many of you may or may not know my love for gray polishes. It is pretty hardcore. So while on the fabulous www.llarowe.com (not going to admit how many purchases ago), I saw this beauty. Total love at first sight. I ordered it along with another one of the Wonder Beauty Products polishes. To my horror (in a totally good way) I hadn't been able to try this gem out yet. One thing about Indie nail polishes that I have been noticing is their higher quality and your manicures last for so much longer. Which is only a problem if say you have purchased about 20 in the past couple of weeks.
First of all, this polish applied with bo problems at all. I never know what to expect out of my glitters. There was no fishing to get the glitter out, it came out with every brushstroke. All of the glitter did, not just one type of the glitter. Which eif you have used many glitter Indies know my problem. Awesome look, but some are harxer to dig out of the bottle and it a painstaking process. Again ZERO application problems. I used three coat toget the desired color depth I wanted. End result. <3 at first sight. You can purchase this gorgeous color at www.llarowe.com. Hopefully you will lime it just as much as I have. Happy Polishing all!

Adventures with Indie Polishes....

I recently got the idea to put my massively large beauty/polish collection to good use and start reviewing and posting the products. Lately I have become OBSESSED with the Indie polish makers, and stumbled across an *AMAZING* one. Whimsical Ideas by Pam.. Well there aren't enough great things that can be said about her products. Right off the bat I ordered four of her polishes ( "In the Whole Wide World", "Sweet Baby James", "Flower Child", and "I Believe In Fairies"). I have been wearing "In The Whole Wide World" now for five days, and I think this is some of the best wearing polish I have EVER put on my nails. Not to mention, totally gorgeous :) Pam has awesome customer service, super fast shipping, and the best personality. I totally recommend buying from her. Which you can do by going to her Facebook page, emailing her the polishes you want to purchase. She invoices you back WICKED quick, you pay with PayPal, and then simply wait on your mailman to deliver. For this look I used Whimsical's "In The Whole Wide World" over OPI's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". I think I would do Pam's creation more justice by using a lighter polish under it, but this was my first try :) Y'all enjoy and of course order some Whimsical Polish!
